Bechem United lethal striker, Abednego Tetteh has taken a sly dig at Hearts of Oak after bagging a hat trick in the game between the two sides over the weekend.

Abednego Tetteh experienced a torrid time against the defenders of Hearts of Oak in the first round loss at the Accra sports stadium but on Sunday in the week 27 of the Ghana Premier League, he was brimming with confidence as he managed to put three goals past Hearts' goalie Samuel Akurugu before a goal from Owusu Bempah proved to be a mere consolation. However, the 25 year old says hard luck robbed him of registering more goals against a weakened Hearts of Oak defense, who were without their tough tackling defender and captain Robin Gnagne.

"I could have scored about 6 goals in the game had luck being on my side. Prior to the match I knew if I play like I did against them in the first round, I would score a goal or two but thankfully I got three."

"Hearts of Oak on the day were not that bad, but it seemed like they were under pressure to perform “We were on top of our game yesterday. And in the course of the game I found it difficult to impose myself on the match because Richard Akrofi proved to be tough and I was amazed when he was substituted and I took advantage of his substitution.” “In the first round Robin Gnagne played well and we had some interesting tussles which I was relishing to do again but heard he's injured, and I think it also had a toll on them." . He told Reuben Obodai of Happy FM.

Bechem united will hope for a win against the already relegated New Edubiase in week 28 of the GPL to achieve their ambition of finishing in top four.
