Former B.A United coach Frimpong Manso has urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to show confidence in local coaches to manage the Black Stars. Coach Manso noted that the association must support the local-based coaches to win laurels with the Stars. The Stars coaching job has been vacant for sometime since the resignation of Avram Grant who failed to win the AFCON in Gabon. The Executive Committee of the GFA approved Maxwell Konadu as interim coach ahead of the appointment of a substantive trainer. In an interview with Asempa FM, coach Manso said "It is time the GFA shows much confidence in the local coaches and support them to manage the black stars".
