Torino rejects Birmingham City’s bid for Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah

Italian side Torino have rejected the offer from Championship club Birmingham City.

According to reports from Toronews.com, the Turin based club rejected the English club's proposal for the Ghanaian midfielder.

Birmingham made an offer of 7.5 million euros payable in two installments however the Italians did not agree with the proposal.

A decision that Torino manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is happy with. According to reports Sinisa Mihajlovic was against the transfer of the player by rejecting the proposal coming from the English side.

With Acquah destined to remain, Godfred Donsah's purchase  from Bologna could still be carried forward: the will of the player's entourage is to continue the discourse, but it is up to the Toro's leadership to decide whether to continue or not.
