Tottenham are willing to re-sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.
Real president Florentino Perez has put Bale up for sale after his latest injury setback. The attacker aggravated a calf injury on international duty with Wales last week - an injury which will keep him out until Christmas.
Diario Gol says Perez is demanding €100m to sell Bale - and won't accept a penny less. Manchester United and Bayern Munich have expressed interest, but have scoffed at Perez's valuation given Bale's injury record.
Spurs, however, have gone further and offered to take Bale back - for €60m. For the moment, Perez has rejected the offer out of hand.
Meanwhile, Perez's transfer tactics have reached the locker room, where senior players have been left unimpressed. Skipper Sergio Ramos, particularly, believes it would be best for all concerned if Bale left for a fresh start.
The Spain international feels Perez should work with Bale to get a move out of the club, even it means losing face by accepting much less than what Real originally paid for the winger.
Just last week, Ramos said of his teammate: "Bale is not integrated? You can not impose how you are to someone. He was a little apart. He was more shy than others.
"Another thing would be if he was not a professional or that he did not take care, but on this subject we can not blame him.
"I do not know why he is injured, let's hope he finds this regularity so that it benefits us all.
"He speaks little, he understands everything, but he speaks English."
