Spanish outlet Diario Sport have reported that Mascherano could be set to depart Barcelona for Chinese football, with Hebei China Fortune set to pay him more than he earns at the Camp Nou. The versatile Argentine, who has played at centre-back and defensive midfield, has fallen behind Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti in the Barca pecking order this season and is expected to leave next summer at the latest.
Theo Walcott to Everton
Having struggled for regular games of late, Walcott looks to be on his way out of Arsenal, with Everton keen to sign him. Sam Allardyce has turned around the Merseyside club's fortunes since being appointed manager and will be handed serious funds to spend in January. The out-of-favour star is a primary Everton target, according to the Daily Mirror.
Eden Hazard to Manchester United
With Hazard reportedly turning down a new £300,000-per-week deal at Chelsea, rumours are emerging that he is a Manchester United target. The Sun report that Jose Mourinho sees the Belgian as an important piece in his puzzle and is planning a huge £90 million move for the classy creator in order to bring him to Old Trafford in what would be one of the most significant Premier League transfers in recent times.
Hirving Lozano to Arsenal
With Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez's contracts expiring at the end of the season, Arsenal are being linked with a move for Mexican attacker Lozano. The 22-year-old has found the net 10 times in league action since moving to PSV Eindhoven in the summer and Mexican outlet Super Deportivo believe a fee of more than £40m will be enough to seal his signature.
Islam Slimani to West Brom
Having failed to truly assert himself upon Leicester City's frontline since joining for a club-record fee in 2016, Slimani could be on his way in January. Portuguese publication A Bola report that the Algerian striker, who once starred for Sporting Lisbon, is not in Claude Puel's plans for the future. West Brom are purportedly interested in securing the target man's services, though they will face competition from Stoke City and Watford.
