UEFA Champions League: Ghanaian duo Dennis Appiah and Frank Acheampong exit Champions League after Anderlecht were beaten 4-2 on aggregate by FC Rostov

Ghanaian duo of Dennis Appiah and Frank Acheampong saw their side, Anderlecht, beaten 2-0 at home to Russian club FC Rostov in the UEFA Champions League Third Qualifying Round.

Appiah started the game and played the entire 90 minutes while Acheampong came on as a substitute for Fabrice N'Sakala in the 54th minute.

The results means Anderlecht loose 2-4 to Rostov on aggregate after the first leg ended 2-2.

Anderlecht have been eliminated from next season's Champions League and will now participate in the Europa League.
