Uganda will not qualify for World Cup 2018 - Muntari

Ghana international Sulley Ali Muntari says he does not see Uganda qualifying ahead of Ghana for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The Black Stars are in the same qualifying group with the Cranes of Uganda, Egypt and Congo.

Sulley Muntari is on two days’ visit to Uganda with his friend Keisuke Honda who is UN youth ambassador. The former Pescara midfielder praised Uganda for its improvement in football however admitted that Uganda cant qualify for 2018 Russia FIFA world cup ahead of Ghana.

Speaking to journalist in Kampala at Serena hotel, Muntari said Ghana will make it for the World Cup to be played in Russia.

“I am sorry for Ugandans, I respect you but I know we shall qualify for world cup,” said Muntari before leaving the Serena conference center VIP lounge where he addressed the journalist after his colleague Keisuke Honda had addressed them earlier.
