Leicester City star Jamie Vardy has warned his Foxes teammate Riyad Mahrez that he must knuckle down and perform if he wants a winter exit from the club.
The Algerian wanted to leave the Foxes during the summer and was linked with a number of clubs. However, he failed to secure a transfer as none of the interested clubs managed to match Foxes' valuation of him.
Vardy said: "As for Riyad, I heard he went to Europe on a holiday. It's up to him now.
"People were saying he wanted a winter move instead. If that's the case he will be wanting to perform and knuckle down to put himself out there."
