Veron Mosengo-Omba and two other people tasked by FIFA to meet Ghana government

FIFA's new director of development for Africa and the Caribbean, Veron Mosengo-Omba, Niger FA President Hamidu Zibrela and Solomon Modegbe have been appointed by Federation of International Football (FIFA) to oversee the crisis that has afflicted the governance of the game in Ghana following the premiering of the investigative documentary by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Mosengo-Omba, a highly experienced operator of the African terrain, has been chosen by General Secretary Fatma Samoura to mediate in the matters over the recent attempt by the government to dissolve the Ghana Football Association in wake of Anas' exposè.

The DR Congo national will be joined by Hamidu Zibrela and Solomon Modegbe as the three-member delegation to help the government in their quest to dissolve the FA.

The Sports Minister requested a meeting with FIFA last week, however, the three-member delegation will arrive in Ghana today ahead of the meeting on Friday.
