Veteran Ghana goalkeeper George Owu is not thinking of hanging his gloves anytime soon.

The 35-year old has been consistent since hitting the limelight in 2005.

Last season he was very influential for AshantiGold in maintaining their Ghana Premier League status.

Owu  has vowed to keep for the post for another 4 years before bringing his career to an end.

“I want to play for the next four years, I am still active and I can still be in the post, you all saw my performance last season.”

Owu’s loan spell at Ashanti Gold SC ended after the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier league and says he’s open to any club that is willing to sign him ahead of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier league season.

“I was loaned to Ashgold by Hasaccas and as I’m talking to you now, my loan is over but my doors are opened to them and any other team that is interested in me”. He told Takoradi based Radio Silver.
