Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed which current players he would choose to make up his dream XI.
The Gabon international is fast becoming one of European football's biggest names and currently has an impressive haul of 29 goals in all competitions this season.
Though he has only played for Dortmund and St Etienne so far in his career, Aubameyang clearly still watches enough football to be able todecide which players would make the cut in his ultimate team, although he may surprise a few with some of the names that are left out.
Having opted for an attacking 3-5-2 formation, the forward chose Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to startin goal, whilst teammate SokratisPapastathopoulos is accompanied by Raphael Varane and Kurt Zouma in defence.
The five-man midfield boasts stars such as Eden Hazard, Marco Verratti, Henrik Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba and Dimitri Payet, which once again, highlights Aubameyang's preference for attacking football.
Marco Reus is chosen to accompany Aubameyang up-front, which while itmay sound a little egotistical, certainly makes for an impressive partnership.
Perhaps the biggest surprise however, is the omission of both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who are generally regarded as the two best players in the world.
Whilst Aubameyang may agree with that sentiment, it's clear he places greater emphasis on team players, rather than ones with outstanding individual quality.
