Black Stars deputy captain Andre Ayew supplied an inadvertent assist as West Ham united deflated Tottenham Hotspurs faint title hopes.

As the game opened up in the second half the Hammers were looking to catch Tottenham on the counter-attack. In the sixty-sixth minute the ploy worked a treat when a move saw some pressure created and when the Tottenham defence failed to clear their ranks, Manuel Lanzini was on hand to smash home Ayew's pass from close-range.
