Player and technical team of Kumasi Asante Kotoko had to be rescued from the bus transporting them to training after fans of Congolese side CARA attacked the team.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko are in the Central African country for the second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup, after the 1-0 victory in Ghana in the firs leg in Kumasi.
However, the club and officials after arriving in Congo have faced brutality from their Congolese fans of CARA who attacked the team, a group of journalists and management members of the Ghanaian side.
The team had to be rescued by the consulate of Ghana in Congo.
