Manchester United new-boy Zlatan Ibrahimovic has declared himself delighted to be playing for the club after Sunday's Community Shield win, calling the club 'probably the biggest' he's played for, on the same level as only one other club - AC Milan.
The Swedish veteran nodded home United's winner late in the second half to claim his first piece of silverware in England after a single game, easing his new side to a 2-1 win over Leicester City.
Speaking on the pitch after the game, he said:"I feel good, I feel very good. The team is fantastic, good teammates, good spirits, good, professional players. And the coach, everybody knows the coach, he wants to win and he does everything to win.
"And the club, outside the team, is probably the biggest I've played for. the only one I can compare it to is Milan, and I'm very honoured and proud to be here."
He also talked to the club's website after the match, saying:It feels amazing to win the first official game.I've been here a couple of weeks and I get to win my first trophy with United. I mean this is what we play for.

We play for the trophies and I'm super happy and super excited for the goal - but especially for the win because it's a trophy for the team. This is what we work hard for and sacrifice.When you can win it is even more amazing but all the credit to Leicester as well, because they played a good game and they had a fantastic last season. He promised further improvements on an individual level after a relatively quiet game, saying:It feels good to be in Manchester United and this is what counts.My individual performances will come. We're in the beginning and building up my physique, my conditioning, and I am yet to know the team-mates.
When all these things are settled, things grow easily. You can then just play your game and enjoy. Things are coming together. We're in the beginning and we're just getting to know each other, especially with me. That is new and we won today and hopefully we can win more.�
