Wa All Stars coach Enos Adepa says he is confident his side will defend their Ghana Premier League title at the end of the season following their 1-0 win over Kotoko at the weekend.
The defending Premier League champions have had an inconsistent form in the ongoing campaign – but last Sunday they pulled a fast one on Kotoko beating the Kumasi giants 1-0 thanks to Kwaku Asuadzie first half strike.
Last season, the Wa giants defied all odds to claim the domestic top-flight championship for the first time in the club’s history and coach Adepa in an interview with Sports Crusader insists his team can defend the title.
“Hope you saw that my current crop of players are new to the top-flight league and they are developing gradually” Coach Adepah said after the game,” he siad.
“We’re still on course and with this victory [over Kotoko] will help my boys.”
“Why not…. We can defend the Ghana Premier league title.”
