Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu says his side will attack Guinea in their group opener at the ongoing WAFU Cup of Nations.

Ghana after successfully going through the prelims have been paired with Mali, Guinea and Nigeria in Group A.

The Black Stars B first game in the group will be against Guinea at the Ndoum Stadium and their coach Konadu says they will go into the game with an attacking mentality .

“We had a technical meeting and the strategy for the game is to attack the Guineans, but we will not leave any stone unturned at the back,” Konadu said ahead of the clash.

“We have spoken to the players and they are geared up for the game. After losing the CHAN qualifier to Burkina Faso it affected the psyche of the players but after beating Gambia in the knockout of the WAFU Cup the teams spirit is back.”

“In the game we will given certain players free role and i’m confident we will beat Guinea.”
