Granada youngster Isaac Success has signed a long-term contractat Watford, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish websiteIdeal.eshave reported that Success has penned a five-year-deal at Vicarage Road after a transfer was agreed between Watford andEl Graná to bring the Nigerian striker to England.

Alfredo Fernandez, Success's agent, was present to complete the negotiations and the player has reportedly been offered a wage increase to move to Watford. There are still some final issues to be ironed out, but they should be completed by next week.

The20-year-old was part of the Granada side that managed to avoid relegation from La Liga last season, scoring six goals and providing five assistsin 30 appearances for his club. Success is known for his strength and technical ability and can play either up front or on the wing.

The Nigerian could be a ready-made replacement for captain Troy Deeney who is rumoured to be on the radar of Premier League ChampionsLeicester City.

The move, which has reportedlybeen on the cards for some time, was helped along by the fact that both clubs were owned by the Pozzo family. Gino Pozzo has since sold his share in the Spanish outfit to Link International Sports, but used his last drop of influence to help push the deal forward.

According to theWatford Observer, future deals may still be possible between the two clubs despite the takeover. The Hornets signedAbdoulaye Doucoure and Adalberto Penaranda in January but the pair spent the remainder of the season on loan at Granada. The signing of Success could alsopave the way for more of the same working relationship to continue.

Success was linked with Atletico Madrid and West Ham earlier this summer.
