We feel comfortable in the division one - New Edubiase Owner Abdul Salam

New Edubiase owner Abdul Salam Yakubu says they are very comfortable in the second tier of Ghana Football and are not so fixed on a quick return to the Premier League.

The Bekwai based club was relegated from the Ghana Premier League last season after enduring a very difficult campaign.

The club started poorly in the division one but have gradually picked up including making it to the round of 32 of the FA Cup where they face Medeama SC.

“The division one is not easy. When we started we were struggling because the philosophy in the division one was different,” he told happy FM.

“But for us as Edubiase we will keep on playing, we are not desperate on a quick return to the Ghana premier league. If we qualify, it will be a plus but if we don’t we will take in in good faith. It is not by force that we have to play in the premier league, we are playing in the division one and we feel very comfortable.”
