We have not received any request from Hearts of Oak to use Cape Coast stadium - Central Regional NSA

A member of the National Sports Authority in Central region, Osafo Agyei has revealed that his outfit has not received any letter or request from Accra Hearts of Oak to use the Cape Coast Stadium as their venue for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

The Public Relations Officer of the club, Kwame Opare Addo in an interview with the media on Monday disclosed that the club has settled on the Cape Coast Stadium as their new home venue for the upcoming season but they waiting for approval to use the edifice.

However, Osafo Agyei says they haven’t received any communiqué from Hearts or the Director-General on this decision.

“I have not received any request letter from Accra Hearts of Oak indicating they want to use the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as their home matches for the 2017/18 Premier League,” he told Aseda FM.

“Maybe they have written the letter to the headquarters but I have not been informed.

“I have not seen any request letter from Accra Hearts of Oak concerning the use of Cape Coast Stadium at the headquarters of National Sports Authority. The director general will call us to the table for discussions if he receives the letter," he added.
