We must have a proper way of scheduling the league matches

WAFA assistant coach Akakpo Patron has called on the Premier League Board to next time check the schedule of the league to avoid breaks that are likely to affect the momentum of the league.

The PLB on Tuesday resolved the league will go on a month break to pave way for the outstanding games as well as Ghana's CHAN qualifier with Burkina Faso.

Coach Patron who is hoping to win the league title for the first time says the one-month break will affect the competitive nature of the league.

''With just some few matches to go, I believe the one-month break is too much and it will take away the excitement but once the FA has its program, we have nothing to say and must comply,'' Patron told footballmadeinghana.com

''The national team assignments supersedes the league games but I believe there should be proper way of doing things especially at a time the league is getting to an end and clubs are struggling to avoid relegation.''
