Asante Kotoko striker Saddick Adams has stated that their desire was to win the MTN FA Cup title.
Adams inspired Kotoko as he scored a hat-trick to finish off their arch rivals 3-1 at the Tamale Stadium on Sunday.
The former Berekum Chelsea striker after the game noted how eager they were for the trophy.
“Our motivation was to be in the final and at the end of the day we wanted to win, we are happy to win the trophy which has also secured us our confederations cup ticket,”Adams stated after the game
“I will like to thank my colleagues for their support because without them I could not have delivered on the day. It was a very difficult game and we came in with a winning mentality. I am very happy at the end of the day we achieved our goal,”
Kotoko by virtue of winning this year's MTN FA Cup will represent Ghana in next year's CAF Confederation Cup.
