Ghanaian player Jonathan Osabutey has suffered another injury which is likely to keep him out for some time.
His coach Oliver Zapel says the new injury is a big blow to his side.
“It’s very bitter that Leander and Jonah have injured themselves again after having been out for several months,” says coach Oliver Zapel.”Of course we hope that both recover quickly and get fit again.”
Jonathan Osabutey joined The River Islanders on a three-and-a-half-year-deal from Tema Youth last year.
The 19-year old hitman suffered an injury during the young River Islanders training three weeks ago after returning from a long lay-off.
