Former New Edubiase midfielder Ebenezer Ofori is on the verge of joining English Premier League side West Ham United who are burnt on revamping their squad following their poor start to the 2016/2017 season.

According to reports in the UK, the Hammers are planning a January move for the 21-year-old who has emerged as a target for several clubs across Europe.

Ofori made his debut for Swedish top tier side AIK against Manchester United in a friendly back in 2013 and has since moved on to play 101 games for AIK with 5 goals to his credit.

The Ghanaian was voted best midfielder in the Swedish league in 2015, catching the eyes of many managers across Europe and he is currently hoping to earn a call up from Ghana coach Avram Grant ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations slated for Gabon.
