President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi has disclosed that it is his wish that the Ghana Premier League produces new winners every year to increase the competitive level.
The 2015/2016 season the Ghana Premier League saw new winners in Nyantakyi's team Wa All Stars emerge winners leaving the two most successful teams in Ghana, Hearts of Oak and Kotoko to do more in recent times.
According to the GFA boss, the league will get more exciting should lowly rated teams win the league every new season.
"Just like it happened in the English Premier League last season when Leicester won, it made the league interesting."
"Aduana came and won from now where, same as Berekum Chelsea and Wa All Stars also won last season. If it happens this way every season, It will make the league exciting." He said on Neat FM.
