Aduana Stars coach Yusif Abubabkar says he anticipated his side's Ghana Premier League winning feat.
The Dormaa side came from behind to beat Elmina Sharks 2-1 in their penultimate match at the Nduom Stadium to wrap up the league with a game to spare.
Aduana stretched their lead to 57 points, seven more than second placed side WAFA with a game to end the season.
Head Coach Yusif Abubakar is happy with the feat
We are very delighted with this feat, i personally knew it was going to happen because of the work we put in at the beginning of the season," he said
"This is amazing for the club, the fans and the people of Dormaa, we promised and by Allah's grace we have been able to deliver.
"I want to congratulate the players for the amazing work and their dedication to this course, it was all not smooth throughout the season but they kept their cool and delivered when it mattered most.
"This is qualification to the African Champions League and for us we must really prepare well and look forward to that.
"We want to do well in every competition we play in so we will prepare well for that."
This is the second time Aduana have won the Ghana Premier League title, their first title was in 2010.
