2018 CAF CL: Yusif Abubakar insists they are ready for Al Tahaddy

Aduana Stars head coach, Yusif Abubakar has reiterated that he is focused on getting the needed result on Wednesday against Al-Tahaddy of Libya in the return leg in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The Ghana Premier League champions were defeated by a lone goal in the first league in Egpyt and the Fire Boys will need to score two goals or more to secure a qualification to the next round of the competition.

But the former Techiman City coach says he and his players have been preparing to get things right in the second leg so they can get into the next stage.

“What I can say is that we have prepared for Wednesday. In the first leg, we played with some attacking intent and we will push even more in the second.

"We will make sure that we will take the chances when we create them. We are aware that they will welcome back Ahmed Muftawu, their main striker.

"He was with the Libyan team in the CHAN tournament. We will prepare for him.

"I have been keeping an eye on him and we will make sure that he does not cause any damage to us on Wednesday,” he added.

A victory for Aduana Stars will set them up for a second-round clash with either ES Setif of Algeria or Olympique Real De Bangui of Central African Republic.
