Yusif Abubakar reckons he is not under pressure to win next season's league

Aduana Stars new coach Yusif Abubakar says he is not under pressure to win next season's Ghana Premier League.

Aduana appointed Abubakar  as coach the team last month following the exit of Aristica Cioba.

He has guided the Dormaa based side to the semi-final of the GHALCA six tournament.

They  beat Medeama 2-0- a second straight win-to top Group B on Sunday.

"I made them to understand and despite that they were second last season, I don't think I have any pressure to make sure that because they were second I should be first this season. That doesn't work in football,'' Abubakar said.

"If I'm able to get to the first position at the end of the season, I like it.

''So it's not always possible that if a team earn second in a season, they should be first in the following season.

"Last time somebody  won the league in Ghana and this season a different person won it and that is football.

''I need to strengthen almost all the positions. I want to make sure that Aduana Stars is a round team."
