Supporters who watched Kotoko's training session on Monday at Adako Jachie had a rare opportunity when Coach Zdravko Logarusic spent time interacting with them.
The afternoon’s session was almost done and the players and the technical team were converging for their closing prayer when the Croatian went to the supporters to speak with them.
The fans took turns to ask him questions bothering on the quality of his team and his preparations for the upcoming season as well as his targets for the year. The supporters in addition, sought clarification on some information making rounds in the media relating to his work.
Standing in the midst of the hundreds of supporters, Coach Zdravko Logarusic explained reasons behind some of his systems of play, why he has adopted it and the relevance of it. He dispelled what he described as erroneous interpretation of his system and his mode of work.
His explanations went down well with the supporters who couldn’t help but applaud his intentions and coaching quality. "This coach is good" one of the supporters exclaimed after the chat. "His explanations and usage of the players are understandable. That aside, this is the first time I’ve seen a coach come to us, to engage us on his own volition”.
