Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has averred that the Zylofon Cash package for the Ghana Premier League is good news for the top flight league.
The country's top flight has been without a major headline sponsor for past three seasons.
However, on Thursday, the Zylofon Media Group was unveiled as the new headline sponsor for the domestic league for the next five years with the deal worth $10 million.
And Opare Addo, who speaks for Accra Hearts of Oak insists it is good news for the clubs.
"I think it's good for the Ghana Premier League because if you already have some means of generating revenues to run the club and this sponsorship add to that. I think it's good news for the Premier League and we are all happy with it," he told Zylofon FM.
The Ghana Premier League will now be known as the Zylofon Cash Premier League.
The Ghana Premier League has however been on a two-week break as clubs with outstanding games clear those matches.
