Liberty Professionals on Sunday afternoon came from behind to defeat Dreams FC 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League.
The Scientific Soccer Lads had a slow start to the match and as a result trailed by a goal after just two minutes into the first half.
Dreams FC top striker Agyenim Boateng Mensah equalized with a fine effort to shoot the visitors into the lead.
Forced to stage a fight to help their survival hopes, Liberty Professionals pushed and eventually had the breakthrough in the 51st minute when danger man Abraham Wayo scored.
Later in the final 20 minutes of the game, Maxwell Ansah also found the back of the net to give Liberty Professionals the lead in the game for the first time in the afternoon.
Today’s win sees Liberty Professionals increase their points tally to 29 and a good chance of climbing out of the relegation zone if they win their next match.
