20/21 Ghana Premier League: Ex-Ghana forward Abdul Razak backs Asante Kotoko to lift league title

Published on: 15 February 2021

Former Ghana Black Stars attacker, Abdul Karim Razak is tipping Asante Kotoko to lift the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.

Popularly known as the Golden Boy, the adored football great has been keeping tabs on the ongoing league season.

Although impressed with Bechem United, Karela United, and some other clubs, the Ghana football legend says he still expects Asante Kotoko to run away with the league title eventually.

“Considering that there are 21 more matches to play and 63 points to fight for, I still think the big guns will surely come on top in the end. The way I see it, Kotoko is my favourite, but Hearts, Aduana Stars, Olympics, and Ashgold can still fight for the title in the end,” Abdul Razak said in an interview as quoted on graphic.com.gh.

Kotoko after playing 13 matches in the Ghana Premier League this season, sits 2nd on the league table with 23 points and a game in hand.
