20/21 Ghana Premier League: Good news as Hearts of Oak players test negative for Coronavirus

Hearts of Oak is now clear to start their campaign in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier season after players and officials tested negative for the Coronavirus pandemic on Tuesday.

The Phobians on Matchday 1 last weekend was expected to play against Aduana Stars in an away fixture.

Unfortunately, tests conducted in the run-up to the match revealed that a number of players and officials of Hearts of Oak tested positive for the Coronavirus disease.

In line with that, the game against Aduana Stars had to be postponed by the Ghana Football Association.

Today, reports gathered have confirmed that a second Coronavirus test for Hearts of Oak players and officials have come out negative.

This comes as a piece of good news for the capital-based club as they prepare for their game against Ashanti Gold SC next week Tuesday.
