20/21 Ghana Premier League: Great Olympics, five other clubs chase top four finish as season nears conclusion

Great Olympics and some five other clubs are pushing to finish in the top four of the Ghana Premier League at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.

After months of exciting football, the Ghanaian top-flight league for this season is set to enter its final phase.

In July, all participating clubs will play their final three matches of the campaign to climax the season.

While several clubs have targeted a strong finish to the season, there are some clubs who are motivated than others.

On the league table led at the top by Hearts of Oak, there is still chance for Asante Kotoko to become champions.

While one of those two teams is certain of league glory, six clubs are also battling to finish in the top four.

First there is the favourites, Accra Great Olympics. The team has 49 points and should be okay to finish in the top four with a couple of wins from the remaining three matches.

Although Medeama SC and Dreams FC are the next two teams closer to finishing top four, they still have a lot of work to do.

Then there is also WAFA SC and Aduana Stars. These two teams have put up a very good fight and winning all three remaining matches would likely secure a top four finish for either side.
