Struggling Liberty Professionals survived a late scare on Wednesday afternoon to earn a point from a goalless drawn match against Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
The team in Dansoman hosted the Ogya Boys at the Carl Reindorf Park today for a clash on matchday 12 of the 2020/2021 season.
On the back of successive defeats in their last three matches, Liberty Professionals set up strong determined to bounce back with a win.
Dominating play and emerging as the better side in the first half, the team went into the break on level pegging with Aduana Stars having failed to find the back of the net.
In the second half, both teams had their moment but it was Aduana Stars that came close to scoring.
An effort that looked like it had crossed the line was not given with the technical bench of Aduana Stars responding in fury.
After 90 minutes, the match has ended goalless with both teams earning a point apiece.
