20/21 Ghana Premier League matchday 15: Karela beat Liberty 2-0 to stay top of league table

Karela United is staying top of the Ghana Premier League standings after matchday 15 following a  2-0 win against Liberty Professionals on Sunday afternoon.

Having displayed impressive form in the first 14 matches of the season, the team from Anyinase deservedly sits top of the league table.

Today, Karela United hosted Liberty Professionals at the CAM Park for a matchday 15 clash in the ongoing 2020/2021 football season.

Exerting their dominance on the matchday opponent, the home team scored in the 27th minute through a strike from Umar Bashiru to ensure they went into the break with the lead.

Although Liberty Professionals will play well in the second half, they could not score and conceded late in the game when Kwame Boateng found the back of the net to seal a 2-0 win for Karela United.

The win means that the Anyinase-based club now has 28 points after playing 15 matches in the Ghana Premier League this season.
