20/21 Ghana Premier League matchday 19: Inter Allies push for survival with 2-0 win against Karela Utd

Inter Allies FC have made a push to survive in the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season after posting a massive 2-0 win against Karela United on Sunday afternoon.

The capital-based club today played host to the league contenders in a matchday 19 encounter of the 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.

In a game where Inter Allies FC were tipped to lose, they staged a spirited performance to ensure they bagged the maximum points to try and get out of the relegation zone.

On the matchday, the first half ended goalless before goals from Nafiu Sulemana and Samuel Armah in the second half handed Inter Allies FC the needed 2-0 win against Karela United.

Courtesy of the win, the team is now on 16 points and six points away from the safe zone.

They will need to take confidence from this match and win subsequent games to have any chances of survival.
