In a fierce contest that ensued in the first half, WAFA SC had the advantage at the break courtesy of an equalizer from Lawrence Agyekum in the 44th minute.
Although Bechem United excelled and made strides in the first half, they failed to score and hence surrender the three maximum points to the home team at the end of the 90 minutes.
