King Faisal on Thursday morning displayed impressive fighting spirit as the team scored late to draw 1-1 against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.
The two teams were originally expected to lock horns at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Unfortunately, the matchday 30 clash had to be called off as a result of heavy rains in the area.
Replaying the match this morning, both teams staged a spirited fight in an effort to emerge victorious at the end of the 90 minutes.
On the back of a goalless draw at the end of the first 45 minutes, Prince Opoku Agyemang scored in the 51st minute from the penalty spot to shoot Medeama SC into the lead.
While the hosts looked set to amass all points, striker Kwame Peprah spoiled the party for the side when he fired home a rebound in added time to draw level for King Faisal.
With the game ended 1-1 at the end of the 90 minutes, both teams have settled for a point apiece.
