An impressive performance from Karela United on Sunday afternoon has seen the team posting a 4-1 win over Berekum Chelsea.
The Anyinase-based club today hosted the side from Berekum at the CAM Park for a matchday nine encounter in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
Starting off on a bright note, Karela United went on to take the lead in as early as the 12th minute when danger man Diawisie Taylor found the back of the net.
Although Berekum Chelsea will restore the lead in the 29th minute, the visiting team will later in the second half be torn apart.
Two minutes after recess, Kwame Boateng found the back of the net to restore the lead for Karela United before the attacker scored again in the 60th minute to give his team a 2-goal lead.
Later in the 72nd minute, an equalizer from Diawisie Taylor from the penalty spot sealed a massive 4-1 win for Karela United against Berekum Chelsea.
The victory sees the team climb to the summit of the Ghana Premier League standings.
