Medeama SC have held on to the top spot on the Ghana Premier League table after posting an emphatic 3-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs over the weekend.

The team from Tarkwa since last month has displayed impressive form and looks like they could go on to win the 2020/2021 league title.

On Sunday afternoon, the team hosted Ebusua Dwarfs at the Akoon Park to battle for points on matchday 22 of the league season.

Continuing from the three wins prior to yesterday’s match, Medeama SC put up the needed performance and cruised to a big win courtesy of goals from Amed Toure, Yaro Ibrahim, and Prince Opoku Agyemang.

Amassing the vital three points from the match, Medeama SC gets to stay top of the Ghana Premier League table at the end of the matchday with 39 points.

Having returned to winning ways over the weekend, Asante Kotoko follows closely in second with 38 points from the 22 matches they have played.

Hearts of Oak after losing 2-0 to Dreams FC are now out of the top four while Inter Allies and King Faisal continue their battles in the relegation zone of the table.
