Medeama SC on Sunday afternoon ended the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season with a 1-0 win against Berekum Chelsea.
At the start of the season, the Yellow and Mauve outfit were in contention for the league title after being counted amongst the favourites.
However, having lost manager Samuel Boadu, the team lost form and as a result, had to struggle in some key moments.
Having missed out on the league title, Medeama SC has still managed a decent finish at the end of the season.
The team today defeated Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League matchday 34 fixture to secure a 5th place finish on the league table.
On the matchday, midfielder Kwasi Donsu scored from the spot to give the Yellow and Mauve outfit the win.
Out of the 34 games the team played, Medeama SC bagged 54 points after winning 15, drawing 9, and losing 10 in the process.
