2018 AWCON: Black Queens set to move to Cape Coast as part of preparations ahead of tourney

The female national team of Ghana, the Black Queens have left their base in Kumasi to Cape Coast as part of their Nationwide tour.

The team toured and played series of friendly games in Ashanti, Brong Ahafo and the Northern Regions.

Coach Bashiru Hayford and his charges got back to Kumasi last Saturday and are currently on the road to Cape Coast where they are expected to play some series of friendly games.

The team will also pay a visit to Omanhene of Cape Coast traditional council.

Six technical team members headed by Bashir Hayford and 26 members of the playing body are currently in a bus heading to Cape coast.

The Cape coast training tour is expected to last for four days before the Queens returns to the Greater Accra Region to continue their preparations at the Ghanaman Soccer school of excellence.

Ghana will host this year’s Africa Women’s cup of nations from November 17 to December 1.
