Injured Black Queens striker Sandra Owusu Ansah has praised the Black Maidens team for their blistering start to the 2018 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in Uruguay.
Ghana hammered the hosts 5-0 on Tuesday night in a game every member of the team impressed greatly.
Skipper Mukarama Abdulai scored a hat-trick and created an assist for Feuseina and Pokuaa to score the other goals.
The Maidens are hoping to replicate the 2012 feat where the team finished third in the competition.
Sandra Owusu Ansah, a product from the Maidens believes this team have what it takes to go all the way to the finals.
"The girls really impressed me yesterday and we must congratulate them for that awesome display," he said
"We were together in camp at Prampram and i am not really surprised with what i saw.
"I will just urge them to keep pushing and working hard because i believe they can do something at the tournament."
Ghana sit top of group A after the heavy win over the host, and will next face Finland who lost their first game against New Zealand.
