2019/20 Ghana Premier League: Elmina Sharks held by Karela United at home

Elmina Sharks were held to a 1-1 draw by Karela United in their second game of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season on Sunday in Elmina.

Karela United took the lead courtesy Darlington Fosu's strike in the 33rd minute of the game.

His goal was the first real attempt from either sides in the first half.

The home side improved massively from a lackluster half hour to bag the equalizer before half time.

Sharks piled pressure on the visitors before Raphael Ocloo leveled for the after Samuel Arthur’s deflected shot fell in the path of Ocloo to score his first goal for the club this term.

Both sides went into the break with the scores leveled.

Sharks continued their impressive display after the recess, but were wasteful in front of goal as Benjamin Arthur missed two glorious opportunities.

Both teams showed the willingness to snatch the winner but to no avail.
