2019/20 Ghana Premier League Match Week 8 Report: Liberty 1-2 Dreams FC

Published on: 05 February 2020

Dreams FC has defeated Liberty Professionals by two goals to one at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park this afternoon in a Match Week 8 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

The Still Believe Lads traveled from Dawu to Accra today on the back of a painful 1-0 defeat they suffered at the hands of Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak last weekend.

Playing against a Liberty side they have picked up four points from their last two away games, the stakes were high with the odds favoring the home team.

Following a pulsating encounter, however, Dreams FC has managed to amass all 3 points after emerging as 2-1 winners. Two goals from Ibrahim Issah and Amadu did the trick for Karim Zito's boys before Emmanuel Kyei Baffour netted the consolation for the home team.

It was however not enough to salvage any point for the Scientific Soccer Lads at the end of the 90 minutes.
