Dreams FC and King Faisal will face off in a titanic encounter this Sunday, December 29, 2019, in the opening weekend of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
The Eastern Regional club will welcome their opponent from Kumasi to the Dawu Park as both sides seek for a good start to the upcoming campaign.
Dreams FC look the stronger side to emerge victorious following their recent results at the match venue which has shown that the Dawu Park is their fortress.
Recently reinstated King Faisal, on the other hand, takes delight in the fact that they are back in the top-flight. With such a good opportunity, they will want to put up a good fight to ensure they keep hold of their premiership status at the end of the season.
They have secured the signings of Michael Akuffo and Bashir Osman to strengthen their squad for the Ghana Premier League.
According to King Faisal head coach Anthony Commey, his side means business and will go into the season in high spirit. He opines that they will be gunning for all 3 points against Dreams FC.
“I have heard something about them, the way they play, the way they attack, I have heard all so we plan on that”, the gaffer said as quoted by the club's Twitter account.
He added, “My target for the team is to stay in the league. My [club's] supporter, they should come and support the team. It won't be easy but they should come to support the team every time, everywhere we go.''
