Ghana created a lot of chances in the 1-0 win over Kenya in the final Africa Cup of Nations Cup qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium, claims coach Kwesi Appiah.

Black Stars defeated the Harambee Stars of Kenya by a lone goal to nil courtesy Caleb Ebukan strike in the dying embers of the game to go top of Group F.

According to the 58-year-old gaffer, his side created a lot of chances in the first half and also created few in the second half, but just that the goal was refusing to come.

“In the first half, we created a lot of chances. If you really watched the game, you’ll realize a lot of chances were created.

“Even in the second half we created some few. In football sometimes you create the chances but if it won’t go in, it won’t go in,” he added.

The win over Kenya managed by French Sebastian Migne on Saturday meant Kwesi Appiah has finally beaten an expatriate coach.
