2019 U-17 AFCON QUALIFIER: Black Starlets hold first training session in Niger

The Black Starlets of Ghana held their first training session in Niger ahead of their opening game in the Africa Cup qualifying tournament against Togo.

Ghana’s U17 side successfully went through the MRI conducted by CAF ahead of the tournament.

The zonal tournament is a new format adopted by CAF to qualify countries for the U17 Africa Cup competitions.

In the West Africa Zone B qualifiers, Nigeria, Niger, Togo, Burkina Faso and Benin are all taking part.

Only winners from respective zones shall join hosts Tanzania for the tournament in 2019.
