The fixtures for the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season will be announced later this evening, a statement from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed.
The last football season had to be ended abruptly as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic which forced the government to place a ban on sports in the country.
Following the lifting of the ban, the Ghana FA in a statement announced that the top-flight league will resume in November.
"The Nations flagship competition, the Ghana Premier League is expected to kick start from Friday, November 13, 2020", a statement from the GFA said last week.
Today, the country's football governing body has indicated that the fixtures for the upcoming season will be unveiled later this evening.
"The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League fixtures will be released here this evening at 6pm", a post on the Twitter page of the GFA reads.
