2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Dreams FC missed top 4 spot in Sogakope - Vladislav Virc

Published on: 02 June 2021

Dreams FC head coach, Vladislav Virc is disappointed his side failed to pick up all three points as they missed out on the opportunity of making the top 4.

The Scientific Soccer lads came from behind to beat Dreams 2-1 at the Red Bull arena Park at Sogakope.

Agyenim Boateng Mensah opened the scoring for Dreams FC in the second-minute – but Abraham Wayo restored parity for Liberty six minutes after recess. Maxwell Ansah went on to score the winning goal for Liberty Professionals in the 73rd minute.

"Our game against Liberty should have put us in the top 4 but unfortunately we missed that opportunity. We did not keep our focus like I always said and we conceded that second-half goal”, he told Dreams media.

Dreams FC will welcome Elmina Sharks to the “Theatre of Dreams” this weekend to honor week 28 fixture of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
